I began my Real Estate career early on in High School in Virginia. I “cold called” potential buyers for Aquia Harbor and then worked for a RE Attorney in the Alexandria Area (handling all aspects of Real Estate including all closings).  I ran the Customer Service Department for a large Washington, DC Area Real Estate Developer. 

While at Madison College (now James Madison University), I was the first female lift operator in VA (Massanutten Ski Resort) and began work for Del Webb in RE Sales.  I graduated from Madison College in 1975 with a Major in Early Childhood Education and Minor in Psychology (and love for Geology). 

Moving to Breckenridge in 1975, I went to work with Timberhill Associates – Bob Girvin and Jim Cavin …and as they say, the rest is History! After several years working in partnership, I took over sole ownership of Prudential Timberhill Real Estate and continued in that capacity until December 2011 when the opportunity to merge with Coldwell Banker Bunchman forming CB Rounds & Porter Real Estate materialized. After five years with Coldwell Banker, a tremendous opportunity arose for me to join LIV Sotheby’s International Realty.  Most recently, and with great excitement, I have embarked on channeling my energies and expertise to my Independent Brokerage,  PAULA STANTON & ASSOCIATES.

During my “formative” years I served in many capacities with our local Summit Association of Realtors (President, Vice President, Director, etc.) and was twice voted Realtor of the Year.  One of my crowning honors was my Appointment (by then Governor Roy Romer) to the Colorado RE Commission, on which I served two terms, and was twice designated Chairperson. To this day I love what I do and the opportunities to continue to grow and to learn in a Profession that is very near and dear to me!

My husband, Pat, and I consider ourselves very spoiled and live right in the heart of the Breckenridge Community and raised our son, Corey in the same neighborhood we still reside. Corey is now married (Suzi Smith) and resides in Charlotte,  NC, where he is an attorney.  Life is good!!
