It feels like a mud season again! Our Main Streets are a little more quiet. The sun has finally decided it’s welcome enough to stick around. Friends are dusting off their bikes, trail shoes, and golf clubs! Spring is coming!

Many restaurant owners use this time to travel to warmer places in the world, but here are a few spots still open this month to try!

Summit Thai

Summit Thai is a new restaurant in the Walmart shopping plaza in Frisco, next to other favorites like the Himalayan Restaurant and Hacienda Real. They have great service and a delicious menu! Just note that their dishes run on the spicy side, so keep that in mind when ordering your favorites like Pad Thai, Pad See Ew or their curry dishes.

Casa Sanchez

This is another new restaurant in Frisco. This Mexican Restaurant is in the old Log Cabin breakfast spot on Main Street across from the Frisco Historic Park and Gazeebo. Their dishes are large, and their service is also great! I hear they have complimentary shots for after dinner meals. 😉

Bread & Salt

I guess we are trending towards Frisco with these recommendations, but Bread and Salt is still open for brunch! Did you know you can also find their same menu at Bagalis? And did you also know that they have a location in Buena Vista?

Cool River in Buena Vista

Cool River has also opened a new spot in Buena Vista!! It is on the ground floor of a bright, new multipurpose building on the main drag, close to the river and pickle ball courts! Diane is an incredible owner, and you can now enjoy their amazing variety of healthy dishes in BV!
