Favorite Breakfast Restaurants in Summit County

Starting your day right is so important when you live in the mountains! Many people wake up before the sun rises to start skinning up our local mountain resorts for an early morning workout before breakfast. Some people work late-night shifts or hop around to local bars for dancing and drinks with friends, and so they start their mornings a little later with brunch.

Either way, it’s nice to meet at a local restaurant with healthy food and a welcoming vibe! These are three of my favorite places to meet long-time friends, local colleagues, or clients who are visiting town.

  1. Amazing Grace in Breckenridge
  2. Bread and Salt in Frisco
  3. Cool River Coffee & Bakery in Breckenridge

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace is located in a sunny historical yellow house off French and Lincolnin Breckenridge. This is a favorite locals’ spot with house-made scones, biscuits and muffins, burritos, tacos, smoothies, and oatmeal for breakfast!

Bread & Salt

Bread and Salt is a quaint, dine-in brunch spot on Main Street Frisco. They have traditional breakfast options like pancakes, eggs, and bacon, along with bagels, oatmeal, burgers, sandwiches, and French Toast. Some of the local favorites, however are the Summit Vegetable Hash, Chilaquiles, and Duck Confit Tacos!

Cool River Coffee House & Bakery

Stop in today for a quick breakfast or grab something to go. They have all of your favorites: breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and bowls savory and smoothie! They also have a series of vegetarian and vegan options along with gluten free to please any diet.
