Support the Youth of Summit County

Our young people have endured some of the most difficult years in recent history at a most vulnerable, transformative season in their lives. Anxiety, depression, and suicide have escalated as feelings of uncertainty and loss of purpose tainted their reality. Canceled sports and activities during 2020 thru 2021 interrupted momentum and motivation for many excellent teenagers.

And yet! There are organizations that stepped in to support our local teenagers and young people. They figured out creative ways to enter their world, get kids together, and meet them where they’re at emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

A few of these organizations stand out like:

Check out their sites and mission, and consider donating to their organizations, sending a student to YoungLife camp, or even volunteering as a leader or board member.

Remember being their age? A kind, honest word of encouragement from an older, respected adult made a huge impact. Let’s be intentional about supporting these organizations and leaders who are giving their time and energy to love on our local special teenagers and families.
